I was raised by my Algonquin Indian (Mahican tribe, Upper NY Hudson Valley) Grandmother who taught me The Great Spirits love through everything through life. It set me off on more of a "spiritual" path rather than searching for a religion. I had gotten involved with a Satanic group later in my teens..which didn't agree with the love & goodness which I had been brought up in..and I actually ran from that group! I continued with my spirituality until the later 70's, when trying to please my Mother, who had come back into my life..I became a Born-Again Christian. I studied this religion and went so far into the studies that I found out truths, myths, and false documents relating this this particular faith...that cause me to no longer have faith or find truth in it. I went back to my old spiritual ways and incorporated the study of Wicca and paganism into my beliefs. Wanting to become devoted...I studied and practiced under The Black Forest Clan, under Silver Ravenwolf, did my year and a day, became initiated and decided to practice solitary to devote my time to healings. I have been practicing for 15 yrs. now. I am married, 23 yrs., have 2 married daughters and 6 grandchildren. We are all pagan and my one daughter, oldest granddaughter & I are Wiccan. I believe that paganism/Wicca is a lifestyle not just a religious/spiritual path. It is everything I believe in and everything I am. My foremost motives are to help, heal, devotions to the Lord & Lady, or the God and Goddess, maintain a grounded and well-balanced life, and reach out to others to help in whatever way I can.
